720 - IG market

Had a chat with my brother few days ago, and he is doing quite well in the shares market currently. He mentioned about his platform, IG market.

Out of curiosity, I went to visit their website, and was totally impressed with it. It looks so simple and friendly. And after spending a few minutes applying an account, I was already using their platform. Even though it was my first few minutes of using it, it already feels so familiar.

Using their charts, I am able to learn more about a company share so quickly. Many things about their platform from application to utilization is so intuitive. I am already thinking of selling all my current shares and moving the funds to that account. It made me think of also transferring my Forex funds there. They have so many financial instruments in one platform. But for now, I think I will stick to GFT for my Forex trading.

Just now, after a few moments of play around with charts in the IG platform, it made me recall something that MasterGunner said.

He says that he will wait a few more Candles around a Resistance/Support zone before deciding where the trend will go. I think he says he wait for around 3 Candles. Maybe I should also start doing that. Currently, I just wait on 1 Candle before enter a trade. Usually the one Candle is a signal which I learned from 'Naked Trader' book.

The signals are also what my trader uncle not know of. He heard of it, but he doesn't use them. Maybe I should also do as what I understand they meant. When the Price hits a zone, observe the Price Action around it for a few more days, before determining if it is a Rebound or a Breakout.

720 - One down

USD/CAD trade down, 3 more to go.

Not looking good at the moment, but well, it is a longer term strategy.

736 - What time is it?

So, today I asked myself, what time in Singapore do Daily Candlesticks close and open a new one?

I was unsuccessful in getting Google to understand what I want, so decided to find the answer using my own trading platform.

Using Hourly Charts, I found out that my platform, GFT, is using the London timing. It is 5:47 pm now in Singapore, and 9:47 am in London now.  So when London is 12 am, Singapore is 8 am in the morning. A new Daily Candle is formed at 8 am in the morning when I am heading to work.

730 - Another last kiss trade

Not sure why recently I keep noticing a lot of Last Kiss signals.

I just entered the above trade, and hopefully the price will head downwards.

Currently I have 4 trades. Hopefully I am able to collect more trades and also have trades surviving.

730 - Another chance for Last Kiss

Woke up at around 4am to watch Man U vs Leverkusen.

Man United won 0-5! Glad that I woke up to watch it, as manager Moyes fielded mostly his first team players. I hope his current mishaps now is only just a starting bump to a long term consistency!

Like what Sir Alex said, he can bring consistency to Man Utd. Same goes to my Forex, I hope I can win consistently in Forex, in a stable, simple way!

Above currency pair is also locked in a consolidation range. Will look to see which side the price will break out of.

734 - Enter trade from previous post

My other 2 trades are losing, and hopefully I don't see 2 or more closed positions tomorrow.

I am on leave tomorrow, and will be watching Man Utd vs Leverkusen tonight!

747 - Last kiss?

I am very unfamiliar with the Last Kiss pattern. But the above seems to be a good example of it.

Price was moving within that range, touching the support line several times. Now it finally looks like it is going to break through downwards. I am just waiting for a retracement. If there is a bearish signal after the retracement, I will enter the trade.

Another strong probability of a bearish trend is you can notice a Double Top pattern. And the 2nd peak is lower than the first peak.
